The Nissan Z NISMO, released on July 31, was shown for the first time. The Z NISMO is the most potent Z model, with 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. No manual gearbox for NISMO. It will include a nine-speed automatic transmission with Track mode for faster gear changes. Nissan has revealed the 2024 Z NISMO, initially seen in camouflaged spy pictures and a tire smoke-filled teaser clip. The NISMO modification improves track performance and looks like previous performance versions. Nissan Z NISMO follows Nissan Z Performance. The NISMO gets a redesigned body, better tires, and more horsepower. It has a limited-slip differential, larger wheels, brakes, suspension, and more comfortable seats. How much power? Commence there. The GT-R NISMO’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine boasts enhanced cooling, a wastegate modification, and ignition timing to boost efficiency. The essential Z gains 20 horsepower and 34 lb-ft of torque. The Z NISMO boasts 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. 2000–5200 rpm is peak torque. The hotter engine’s oil cooler lets you retain all that power on the track longer. No map The Z NISMO boasts NISMO-specific clutch packs and engine management software. However, it just has a nine-speed automated transmission. This accelerates downshifts and launches aggressively. Sport+ mode quickly downshifts without the driver using the shift controls. Drivers who enjoy distractions have options. Nissan’s grille now resembles the Fairlady 240ZG’s G-Nose—one of the most noticeable exterior alterations. The revised nose’s grille opening allows more air to cool the engine. Fine honeycomb mesh fills it. Red circles indicate the biggest surprise. The NISMO emblem, black roof, and red line at the back make this model stand out. This shows the top Z. Other aerodynamic improvements include a three-piece back spoiler that slots into the rear quarters and front corner extensions that direct wind around the wheels. Black, 19-inch Z NISMO wheels are 0.5 inches larger than Z Performance wheels. The back wheels include substantial tire patches and 10.5-inch rollers. 10″ front wheels. They’re lighter than Performance’s but more significant. Nissan tires the new wheels using Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT600. There are larger 4-piston callipers, 15.0-inch front, 13.8-inch rear brake rotors, and heavy-duty brake pads. The frame is 2.5 percent stiffer than the Z Performance due to extra bracing under and around the car. Steel driveshafts replace carbon ones on the track-ready NISMO Z. Bigger dampers, improved mounting points, and stiffer bushings make the NISMO more nimble on track. Red The drive mode and anodized Stop/Start buttons are red. The new digital display flashes a NISMO-only red outline when the car begins. The manual-adjustable leather and fake suede Recaro seats have a red center and NISMO emblems on the headrests, while the steering wheel has a red accent mark. Stealth Grey, exclusive to the Z NISMO trim, is one of five hues. Other Z trims offer Brilliant Silver, Passion Red, Black Diamond Pearl, and Everest White Pearl. Fall sales of the 2024 Z NISMO will be unannounced.
