BMW seems obligated to make cars with designs that split people’s opinions. This is sometimes a good thing, but it does happen occasionally. The beautiful coupe called the BMW 2 Series is one of the few BMWs on the market right now that has a grille that looks like most other cars. But it was customary for BMW to change it and give the M2 air intakes and fender flares, making it look more relaxed. Since then, many mods have tried to improve the M2’s strange design. Alpha-N Performance, a German tuner, is the most up-to-date. Two different “M2 CSL” body kits are available from Alpha-N Performance. One was made to look like the brand-new BMW M4 CSL, and the other was made to look like the E36 M3 GT. The name for the M4 CSL is “Project Silver.” The “M2 GT” is a car made to look like the “E36 M3 GT.” Both vehicles have a lot in common, like how Alpha-N Performance gave them new wheels, lowered their springs, and put carbon fibre aero on them. But the details are what matter. Project Silver is different from other models because it has a new front spoiler, a rear ducktail spoiler, a redesigned top with a big scoop up front, and a new diffuser in the back. Alpha-N gave it new grille inserts, each with a single horizontal grille strip. It has 20-inch wheels by Proline and coil overs made by Ohlins Road & Track. The reels resemble the Style 666M wheels on the old BMW M4 Competition Package. The M2 GT from Alpha-N is angrier. In addition to some of the abovementioned things, it has gurney flaps, front fender vents, carbon fiber brake ducts, an adjustable front splitter, a large fixed rear wing, and an adjustable front splitter. The Ohlins Road & Track coil overs on the M2 GT have dome bearings that can be adjusted. The M2 GT doesn’t have Proline wheels. Instead, it has straight 20-inch Edelweiss wheels or staggered 20-inch and 21-inch wheels with a champagne finish. I like the M2 GT better than the other car because it is painted dangerous green, has a fixed rear wing, and has champagne-colored wheels. It’s up to the buyer to decide if they can “improve” the standard BMW M2 design, but I think the M2 GT is better than the stock car.
