Automotive News Canada says that the Chrysler Pacifica will get a whole new look in the next few years. Reports say that Christine Feuell, CEO of Chrysler, said the minivan will get “more than just a moderate refresh.” The updated Pacifica will be available once Chrysler releases its first electric vehicle (EV). The Airflow concept showed what the EV would look like, and it’s expected to come out in 2025. There is only one model left: the Chrysler Pacifica minivan. The Chrysler 300 sedan is being phased out. Some might be worried that this means the Pacifica is about to die, but there’s no need to be. The ship will likely live longer than expected. This comes from what Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell said, which Automotive News Canada said meant the minivan would get “more than just a moderate refresh.” There will soon be a big update Feuell only said that Pacifica’s refresh would be important and didn’t say anything else. It will probably be a few years before the minivan gets a new look since it will be available after Chrysler releases its first electric car. This was planned with the Airflow concept from January 2022, and it will be made starting in 2025. But there are still a lot of questions, like what the product is called. The updated Pacifica is hard to guess because it looks like it will be based on the same platform as the 2017 model. After getting a makeover in 2021, it now has all-wheel drive and looks better. The 2024 Pacifica still comes with both the standard V-6 and plug-in hybrid powertrains, but it needs to be clarified if either will be kept in future versions. Feuell thinks that minivans will still be popular until the end of the decade. This puts people’s worries about the Chrysler Pacifica’s short lifespan to rest. It was sent to AN Canada. She also said that the Voyager, a special version of the Pacifica that is only in this fleet, would continue to run. We wonder if an all-electric Pacifica is in the works since the company that made the first minivan is still very interested in the body style. Right now, that would be very helpful.
