Think about the fact that the Ferrari F8 Spider is an exciting, one-of-a-kind car with unique features. Think about how remarkable it would be if it were a Ferrari Special Projects roadster, one of only a few made. Have no more doubts, as we believe a wealthy Ferrari customer worked with the company to create the one-of-a-kind SP-8 roadster.

A minimal number of the Ferrari SP-8 were made. It is a one-of-a-kind model built on the F8 Spider

A changed F8 spider

The new limited-edition Ferrari was based on the F8 Spider in terms of its appearance, what it can do, and its name. Behind the seats of the F8, a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V-8 engines makes 710 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. However, Ferrari did not share performance numbers for the SP-8. It is said that the engine can speed the car up to 60 mph in less than three seconds. These numbers are the same as those for the fast 488 Pista.

The regular F8 has a drop-top convertible style, but the particular version has a roadster style. Ferrari says they had to try the car in the wind tunnel, on the track, and in simulations to make it as comfortable as the F8 without the roof.

The SP-8 takes design cues from the F8, but it has its personality all the way through with a new front end and a longer and more angular spoiler. The back of the car is made of raw, shiny, iridescent Blue Sandstone carbon fiber, and the front is made of matte Argento Micalizzato gray. Ferrari says that the unique five-spoke wheels are a nod to the brand’s early concepts and the F40’s alloy wheels.

SP-8 is worth a lot

The company that made this and all the other Ferrari Special Projects cars did not say how much they cost. It will cost more than the F8 Spider, starting at over $330,000.

The car will be shown off at the Mugello Circuit for the 30th Finali Mondiali Ferrari from October 24 to October 29, 2023. The car will be shown at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from November 16, 2023, until March 20, 2024, before it is sent to its owner in Taiwan.
