The LC500h has a hybrid engine with 354 horsepower, but the LC500 still has a 5.0-liter V-8 with 471 horsepower. In June, the 2024 cars will go on sale in the US. The most-wanted Lexus, the beautiful LC, has finally fixed one of its most significant flaws: the annoying touchpad infotainment controller has been removed from the range. The 2024 Lexus LC500 and LC500h get an updated infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and new colour choices and ways to customise the car. The new dashboard doesn’t look much different from the old one, but the central display panel has been changed from a recessed screen managed by a touchpad in the centre console to a tablet-style touchscreen. So, the new Lexus Interface software, which lets you get updates over the air, a voice assistant, and more ways to connect, is also running on the screen. Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 ($595) and Copper Crest ($500) are the new colors for the outside. Copper Crest is the new color for the inside. With Lexus’s new Bespoke Build program, buyers can customize their LC with various paint schemes, wheel configurations, and luxury add-ons. For an extra $1900, the Bespoke Build option adds a roof made of carbon fibred, six soft top colors for the convertible, and a new blue-and-white interior. Both the car and the convertible LC have the same mechanics. The convertible only has a V-8 engine, but the car has a naturally aspirated 471-hp 5.0-liter V-8 in the LC500 or a 354-hp hybrid drivetrain in the LC500h with a 3.5-liter V-6. Now it comes with 21-inch wheels and a device that helps you park. The base price of the 2024 LC500 car is currently $98,850, which is $3250 more than last year. Costs have gone up a lot. The price of the LC500 convertible has gone up by $2700 and now starts at $106,350. The price of the LC500h hybrid has gone up by $550 and now starts at $102,150. Lexus said the 2024 models will be available in American stores in June.
