Aehra is a young Italian EV company that showed off its SUV concept EV last year. This weekend, it will show off its Sedan concept EV at the Milano Monza car show. Since the electric duet won’t be made until 2026, it’s not too strange that there isn’t much information right now. Aehra says that “The Sedan” will have a range of 500 miles and cost between $175,000 and $200,000. Aehra says it is using ties in Italy to make its line of electric vehicles (EVs) a reality. Electric cars are still a good market for companies that want to make a name for themselves in the car business. Aehra, an Italian electric startup “mobility brand” that announced its plans in the middle of 2022, is one of the new competitors. Aehra just released a brand-new, high-end electric car aimed at the top of the luxury-EV market. Even though the model name is a little strange, the style is beautiful. At the end of May, Aehra showed the first teaser picture of the new car. However, it only showed a small part of the back spoiler. A new set of preview pictures shows the whole outside of the stunning all-electric racing car that will be released soon. Filippo Perini is the company’s chief design officer. He has worked as a designer for Audi, Lamborghini, and Italdesign, so it’s unsurprising that we think a design this good deserves a name other than “Sedan.” This weekend, Aehra will show off its Sedan in full at the Milano Monza car show. The company said that buyers would get their first sedans in 2026. In 2022, Aehra showed off its SUV concept, “The SUV,” as you might think. So, what’s up with the Sedan? The Sedan looks like what Lexus might make if it took the new Prius design and made it for the high-end market, according to the pictures. It seems scary and uses less gas because it has four “scissor” doors and a short, pointed front end. Although not all details have been revealed, we do know that the Sedan will share the Aehra SUV’s chassis. Aehar said that the Sedan would have a top speed of 165 mph and an impressive 500-mile range on a single charge. This would be possible because of technology from Miba Battery Systems. There are some nice touches inside the car, like an infotainment screen that goes from door to door and can be pulled up when the vehicle is stopped to make a widescreen movie screen or give you a chance to win Room Rater at your next video meeting. This screen shows essential information while the car is going. “Virtually identical” is how the cars that will be made will be described. This technology is for more than just people who go to car shows. Perini says the electric car showed this weekend “will look almost exactly like the final production model that will come out in 2026.” Preorders should start in 2024 and mass production in late 2027. The SUV and Sedan will cost between $175,000 and $197,000, according to Reuters. Even though there are no official plans, Aehra wants to make about 25,000 units of each type each year. Aehra, based in Milan, says it has “substantial private funding” to meet its commitments. Even though the Italian company calls itself a “global ultra-premium electric automotive brand,” “global” does not always mean “everywhere.” The company says North America, Europe, China, and the Gulf States will be Aehra’s first vital areas.
