China now has a new form of the Buick Lacrosse large car. The outside of this new model is sleek, and the inside is full of high-end features. The Lacrosse stopped selling in the United States years ago and is not expected to return. Even though Buick hasn’t made a big, comfortable sedan in the U.S. for a long time, the full-size Lacrosse is still a popular car there. G.M. just showed off a new Lacrosse for the Chinese market that looked very high-end on the outside and inside and had features no Buick sold in the U.S. had. The 2017 Lacrosse’s headlights are similar to those on the Encore G.X. and Evita, and the brand’s new tri-shield logo is displayed boldly on the hood. As illustrated above in the top Avner trim level, the LED taillights and matrix headlights can light up in a welcoming pattern as you approach the car. The tech show inside is also better than any recent Buick, with a vast array of 30″ screens taking up two-thirds of the dashboard. The electric Buick Electra E5 crossover, which may be the first car in the U.S. to have this new entertainment system, has screens set up similarly. Lacrosse front and back seats can be heated, cooled, and massaged. The Lacrosse used to have a 237-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine and a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Still, Buick has yet to publish any technical information about it for the Chinese market.
