Garage 56 will drive a NASCAR Chevy Camaro this weekend in the Le Man’s race at La Sarthe. The team is getting ready for the entire race. In early tests, the car did better than many of its LMGTE-Am competitors, such as Corvette Racing and the Ferrari and Porsche sports cars. But when it’s done, it looks ridiculous. The Next-Gen car is made to look like a Camaro ZL1, but it is much bigger than its European competitors. Way too big.

In the picture above, a car follows behind a group of vehicles from different classes. The length, width, and height of the Garage 56 car are 193.3, 78.4, and 50 inches, respectively. Like the Ferrari behind the Camaro, Le Man’s hypercars can be more prolonged and extensive. But they are shorter. The Cup Car’s cockpit is not based on a single driver, which adds to the show. Even though the picture above shows some depth, other photos are more accurate. The thing is just enormous compared to what else is out there.

Three people will drive the car with 670 horsepower. Jimmy Johnson, who won the NASCAR championship, is the only American on the list. He is joined by Mike Rockenfeller, who won the Le Mans race, and Jenson Button, who won the Formula One world championship. The most obvious change is that the front and back of the car now have more surfaces that help it move through the air.

The Camaro, which is in a different class, beat every LMGTE Am car by a few seconds during testing on the 8.46-mile road, but it is more than ten seconds behind vehicles in the LMP2 class. So, it will likely try to get a spot in the front row of the LMGTE Am.

On June 10, at 10 a.m. local time, the 24 Hours of Le Mans will start. The next day, it will end at the same time. Interesting, huh?
