• The Charger Daytona EV with four doors won’t come out in the first half of 2025; it will come out in the second half.
  • For the 2026 model year, both the internal-combustion Charger Sixpack and the four-door version will now be released at the same time.
  • Dodge quietly got rid of the Daytona’s R/T grade, but the Scat Pack is now standard and the Track Package is an add-on.

People who are eagerly waiting for the more useful Dodge Charger Daytona EV with four doors will have to wait a little longer. A new press release from Dodge says that the four-door Charger EV will now be ready in the second half of 2025, not the first half as was first thought.

Dodge Has Postponed Production Of The Four-Door Charger Daytona EV Until 2026

The Charger Daytona sedan will now come out in 2026, the same year as the planned Charger Sixpack with an internal combustion engine. Dodge took the R/T trim out of its 2026 lineup a little over a week ago because it wasn’t clear what the US would do about tariffs.

This means that the 670-hp Scat Pack is the only powertrain option for the Charger Daytona. Even though there aren’t many finishing options, customers still have choices. Dodge is introducing a new Track package for both the two-door and four-door versions.

For a sporty look, the new Brembo brakes have two fixed six-piston calipers in the front and four-pot units in the back. Performance seats, a gloss-black spoiler, adjustable dampers, and a race recorder are all part of the Track kit.

Dodge also said that for the 2026 model year, there would be two new looks to choose from. A gloss-black hood and racing stripes (which used to be called Fratzog dual stripes) can now be bought by customers.

At the time this article was written, Dodge’s consumer website still did not offer the option to build or price a 2026 Charger Daytona EV, despite the company’s claims the models are already available to buy.
