Nissan updated the Armada for the 2025 model year, introducing the Pro-4X version, which is specifically designed for off-road use and features red tow hooks, skid plates, and all-terrain tires. The 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO is the company’s newest full-size SUV. It boasts more power, a more aggressive body kit, and a modified frame.

'Fast And Furious' Body Package For The 2026 Nissan Armada Nismo, A Big SUV

Even though the NISMO shares the same twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine as the smaller Armadas, Nissan was able to extract an additional 35 horsepower from it, bringing the total output to 460 horsepower. Nissan states that adjusting the valve clearances and recalibrating the engine improved its performance. The Armada also has a tuned exhaust, but we couldn’t hear it. Nissan also states that the “Active Sound Enhancement” system amplifies the engine note inside the car. Nissan tweaked the handling and modified the air suspension on the NISMO model to enhance its driving experience.

Along with the performance changes, Nissan gave the Armada a more muscular look. The front looks significantly more aggressive, featuring a larger head and vertical cuts that direct air around the front wheels. Fender flares make the confident attitude stand out even more. Below, a splitter protrudes and conceals the LED fog lights. It features the same red accent as the sideview mirrors, rear diffuser, curved side skirts, and both sides of the grille. The body kit gives the SUV a Fast & Furious look, but it lowers the minimum ground clearance by 0.7 to 8.9 inches.

What’s behind the car is longer than it used to be. Forged 22-inch wheels and red brake calipers make the Armada NISMO stand out. It also has Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S Enliten all-season tires. It’s not common for NISMO logos to be in the middle of each bumper, below the Nissan logo.

There are red accents throughout the cabin, including a red line on the center panel and a red microsuede quilted insert on the charcoal leather seats. The stitching, the noon mark on the steering wheel, and the trim around the air vents are all colored. The NISMO logo is sewn into the headrests, on the floor mats, and the steering wheel. The NISMO has aluminum wheels and ambient lighting that comes in different colors.

The front seats have 12 power-adjustable positions and a four-way back support. The side bolsters can also be adjusted to help you stay in place and get the most out of the 460 horsepower. A Klipsch 12-speaker sound system, heated and massage front seats, and a power-adjustable steering wheel are also standard.

The NISMO only comes in two colors: Black Diamond Pearl and Stealth Gray. The Everest White Pearl Tricoat can be worn with a black roof, just like the one that came before it. Every NISMO model features a 3D surround-view camera, a motion-activated liftgate, and two panoramic sunroofs.

The Armada NISMO will be available for sale in the fall, but the price will not be announced until later. There will only be room for seven people. The NISMO will cost more than the other Armada types. It should start at around $70,000.
