Today, Fiat showed off a lot of concepts. Some of them hint at the style direction of the Italian brand’s next line of cars, while others were a tribute to the famous Panda model from the 1980s. In a YouTube video, Fiat CEO Oliver Francois talked about the company’s plans for the future. He said that the new models would be built on a global platform that could handle gas, electric, and hybrid powertrains. Francois said that the first of these four new Fiats will go on sale on July 11, 2018. One will be released every year until 2027. Which of the new cars will be sold in the US needs to be made clear, but they’ll be really cool if they look anything like below;

City Car in the Huey Color

With its square body and boxed-off fenders, this city car design looks the most like the real Fiat Panda. The final model will not have some of the most unusual features, like a mostly glass canopy and pink tires. As with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, it will have lighting elements that look like pixels. Behind the Panda’s driver’s door panel is a place to store skateboards. That’s wild!

Beautiful Interiors

It is said that the company’s Lingotto plant in Turin, Italy, which is famous for having a racetrack on top, will inspire a lot of oval shapes in the interiors of future Fiat cars. The real driving wheel won’t be oval like this one, thankfully, but the modular dashboard might look like this. Our sources say that the inside is made of bamboo and plastics that can be recycled. The seats look like wicker furniture.

A Panda that’s good for kids

This idea is for an SUV with lots of space that would be great for big families. You can name it the Panda XL if you want to. It has big wheels and a very short front overhang. The windows in the back are covered, like on a panel van, and the glass on the front side continues below the beltline. If either of these design choices is used in reality, it will be very interesting to see. Fiat also used this model to show off the movie’s three different powertrains: an electric one, a hybrid one, and a gas-powered one.

A very big Panda tent

Francois called this camper plan “the ultimate execution of the original 1980 Panda concept.” It looks like it has all-terrain tires and a higher ride height because it is so big. Along with a roof rack, the front bumper looks like it has a winch. The video also shows traction boards, a wind turbine that can be attached and is probably meant to make energy, and a ladder that is built into the back door.

Car Pickup Truck Panda

This prototype pickup is meant to be the next wave of small Fiat trucks that will be sold around the world. It looks a lot like the other types, except for the small storage bed. The space is tight because only half of a bicycle fits in the full-width tailgate shown in the film. The light modules that can be taken off the front and put along the edges of the roof rack are even more interesting, as is the storage rack that comes from the roof in the movie.

It’s a fastback Panda that looks good

This idea, which has a fastback body shape like the coupe-like SUV that Fiat sells in other countries, shows how sportier the company’s next cars will be. The backlighting in this picture is also very clear; it combines the pixel pattern with “Fiat” lighting up one side. We really like the copper paint color because it goes well with the big wheels and blocky design that looks like it was made in Minecraft. It is important to note that Francois only talked about one idea in the video, and that was “coming soon.” Is it a coincidence or proof?
