The 2025 Kia EV6 GT features refreshed styling and enhanced performance, and we now have our first glimpse of it. The electric crossover not only sees its peak horsepower increase from 576 to 641, but it also adopts artificial engine sounds and simulated gear shifts, features carried over from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. The EV6 GT still includes lime-green brake calipers and matching interior accents, but they are understated enough to maintain its status as a true sleeper. The Kia EV6’s faster version is called the GT. The all-wheel-drive ute is a bullet on wheels, with up to 641 horsepower. For 2025, the high-performance electric car has a new look and has been improved to make it faster and more fun to drive. Even though these changes were mentioned when the 2025 Kia EV6 lineup was shown off at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month, there are still no pictures of the GT version. We got our first look at the new EV6 GT courtesy to photos released to Kia’s Korean website. The hi-po model looks a lot like the regular models, just like its predecessor. The only change that can be seen is the new 21-inch wheels, which have a more complicated design. There is only one clear sign that this EV6 stands out from the rest: the lime-green brake pads that stick out from under the wheels. The last version we tried went from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, so this one should be even faster now that its top power has gone up from 576 to 641 horsepower. The lime-green pattern stays inside but in a classy way. The strange color is used on the HVAC vents, the hash mark and GT button at 12 o’clock on the steering wheel, and the seat stripes and stitching. The EV6 GT also has a new three-spoke steering wheel, which is different from the old two-spoke one. Kia adds a new feature from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N: the buttons on the back of the wheel can be used to simulate changing gears. It looks like an EV is dressed up as a gas-powered sports car thanks to fake exhaust sounds, and the EV6 GT can act like a normal dual-clutch automatic transmission even without the pedals. The exact price of the 2025 Kia EV6 GT is unknown, but we think it will be a little more than the $62,975 starting price of the previous model. Along with the rest of the range, it should go on sale in the first half of next year.
