You have one more chance to buy a Dodge Challenger or Charger with a Hemi engine. Dodge plans to stop taking orders at the end of this month since the famous muscle cars will no longer be made after the year ends. That means you only have 13 days to join the Mopar craze before the Detroit automaker’s big thing is electricity.

Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said, “It’s the ‘last call’ for fans who want to order a Dodge Challenger or Charger, especially a high-horsepower model like the Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, or a special-edition model.” As we move toward an exciting, electric muscle car future, people who want to buy a piece of Dodge’s famous past need more time.

Dodge has been unmistakable that it will stop making these powerful cars after December 31, 2018. Dodge made a line of seven limited-edition Last Call cars in preparation for the twin exit. Some are the Dodge Challenger Shakedown, the Dodge Challenger Black Ghost, the Dodge Charger Super Bee, the Dodge Charger and Challenger Scat Pack Swinger, and the Dodge Charger King Daytona. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 was the most extreme stock Mopar ever made. It was the last car in the line. Right out of the box, the Demon 170 has 1025 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 1.66 seconds. Only 3000 Demon 170s are left for the American market, but they have already been leased.

Plum Crazy to Destroyer Gray

Still, there are a lot of other Challenger and Charger models to choose from. Several fan-favourite colours are among the changes to the buying book for the 2023 model year. Some are classics, like Sublime Green, Plum Crazy Purple, and B5 Blue. In 2023, current Mopar users can order their cars in colour called “Destroyer Grey,” which has been taken off the market. Also, all the models have a badge that says “Last Call,” and the 5.7-liter R/T cars have a new badge with “345”.

Dodge has already made buying a Mopar easier, but they need to move quickly. Go to DodgeGarage.com and use the Horsepower Locator tool if you are interested. This makes it easier to start buying the machine you want because you can see what dealers nationwide have in stock and their allocations.
