Ford gave $2.5 million to Team Rubicon, a group led by veterans that helps people after natural disasters in the United States. Team Rubicon will get 15 SUVs, 10 F-150 Hybrid pickup trucks, 3 F-150 Lightning EV pickup trucks, and 2 F-350 pickup trucks. They will also get two Bronco Sasquatch SUVs. Ford has given $7 million to help people after a disaster and $1.5 million to Team Rubicon. When something terrible happens in a community where a company is based, they often give money or cars to help. Ford said it would provide $2.5 million to Team Rubicon, a group run by veterans, over the next five years. The Environmental Protection Agency says that about 29% of all greenhouse gas emissions in the United States come from transportation, which includes passenger cars. Climate change experts have warned that rising world temperatures could worsen weather disasters.
