What a great plan! I went to Florida to get a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport to go 400 kph. For those who are always a tree and never a forest, that is 248.548 miles or 250 miles per hour. I went to Orlando on an Airbus A321, which has a cruise speed of 544 mph. At the equator, the Earth goes around faster than 1,000 mph. Over 67,000 miles per hour pass as the Earth goes around the sun. Einstein may have noticed that speed is different for everyone. The most important thing to remember is that Bugatti built a space shuttle runway, so I had about 2 miles to speed up and then 4,000 feet to stop what should have been the fastest car I’d ever driven. Bugatti and Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds LLC worked together to test the straight-line aerodynamics of the car at Space Florida’s Launch and Landing Facility at Kennedy Space Center. Before this trip, I had reached over 200 mph a few times, with my best being an estimated 207 mph in a Lamborghini Huracán Performante on the opposite space shuttle field in California. This Bugatti sprint would be significantly quicker, reaching speeds that have only been attained by a select few.
