More and more zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) are being produced by automakers every year. Electric vehicles are a hot topic right now, and everyone from established automakers to up-and-coming startups like Lucid, Canoo, and Rivian is working on them. We have compiled a complete inventory of the upcoming electric vehicles. Acura ZDX (Expected: 2024) When it comes out in 2024, the Acura ZDX will be another step toward making Honda’s current lineup of cars run on electricity. Although details about this all-electric SUV are still scarce, we know that it will share its platform with the forthcoming Honda Prologue, which is based on an architecture developed by GM. This time, the EV should look more like an SUV, as the Precision EV concept suggested. You may remember the ZDX name from Acura’s previous coupe-SUV. A Type S performance model with more power, a stiffer suspension, and a more aggressive look will also be a Type S performance model. This is an e-tron version of the Audi A6 (Expected: 2023) While the Audi A6 e-tron is still in the concept stage, the automaker claims that the design is extremely close to the production version. It is adaptable to various electric vehicle models thanks to its Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which allows for lengthening, raising, and widening. It’s expected to be the first EV built on Audi’s PPE platform, which will be used for future electric vehicles and sold alongside the gas-powered A6. The A6 e-tron concept gets its power from a pair of electric motors, which combine to produce 469 horsepower. This large sedan can travel up to 400 miles on a single charge and is equipped with 800-volt charging ports, standard on all PPE vehicles. An Overview of Bentley’s Five Main Vehicle Lineup (Expected: 2025) Bentley plans to transition away from producing gas-guzzling land yachts and instead focus on developing new models powered by electric motors. By 2030, Bentley plans to release updated versions of the Bentayga, Flying Spur, and Continental GT coupe and convertible. The earliest possible replacement date is projected to be around the year 2025. In the automotive industry, Buick is known for producing the Electra: General Motors applied to revive the Electra trademark to the US Patent and Trademark Office. Given that GM already produces electric vehicles like the Cadillac Lyriq, GMC Hummer EV, and Chevrolet Silverado EV, it makes sense for Buick to introduce an electric SUV. There has been no official announcement, but an “Electra” badge has recently been spotted on a Buick concept SUV. Holden’s Celestiq (It will probably occur before 2025.) The Ultium battery architecture will power the Cadillac Celestia and all future GM electric vehicles. The Celestiq is expected to travel at least 300 miles on a single charge. There will also be a four-wheel-steering, all-wheel-drive option. This will likely be the same setup as the GMC Hummer EV. Additionally, the four-panel “smart glass” roof allows each passenger to regulate the amount of natural light entering the vehicle. This will be the most expensive electric vehicle (EV) offered by Cadillac, with prices starting at around $100,000. Additional details will be available soon. Pickup on a Canoe. Predicted to occur in 2024 Canoo, a California company specializing in electric vehicles, produced this pickup. The new name for this is Pickup Truck. An alleged 600 horsepower and 200-mile range describe the Canoo pickup. It is shorter by two feet than the standard, midsize pickup, the Ford Ranger. The Canoo pickup, rumored to have a bed length of between six and eight feet, is now up for pre-order, with production beginning in 2024. Canoo, Canoo (Expected: Late 2022) This electric vehicle can seat seven people and is based on the same skateboard platform as Canoo’s pickup. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen use this same platform to switch body styles while maintaining consistent underpinnings rapidly. Canoo is currently conducting trials of a subscription service that will allow customers to rent an electric vehicle (EV) on an as-needed basis. Canoo claims that the small bus has a range of 250 miles and a horsepower of 300. Information about subscription costs or one-time purchases has yet to be provided, but that should change later this year. VW Equinox Plug-In Hybrid (Expected: Late 2023) Compared to the Ford Escape, Hyundai Tucson, and Subaru Forester, Chevrolet’s Equinox sales of 212,072 last year were higher. The company anticipates continued growth with the release of the Equinox EV in the fall of 2023 at a base price of about $30,000. There will be a variety of Equinox EVs to choose from. The base model will have 210 hp and 250 miles of range. Models with dual motors and all-wheel drive have 290 horsepower, and higher-end vehicles with larger battery packs can travel up to 300 miles. Silverado Electric Vehicle from Chevrolet (Expected: 2023) In many ways, the GMC Hummer EV and SUV were just previews of the production version of the all-electric Chevrolet Silverado. Manufacturing of the Silverado will move there because it uses the same 400-mile-range GM Ultium battery pack. Several Silverado EV trim levels will be available, from the work truck trim made specifically for fleets to the RST trim with 664 hp and all the trimmings. To keep its promise to release 30 new electric vehicles by 2025, Chevrolet will begin production of its first electric pickup truck this year.
