Whether you like the live-action Transformers films by Michael Bay or not, they have made a lot of money. With Transformers: The Last Night, viewers and critics started losing interest in the movie series. With the release of Bumblebee in 2018, the franchise was given a new start with the help of a new director. The movie was a historical story set in the 1980s and focused on a well-known character. Steven Caple Jr. is in charge of directing Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. His last movie was Creed II. Rise of the Beasts, like Bumblebee, takes place in the 1990s instead of the 1980s. So, Caple Jr. was able to use some of the most famous cars of the time, like a Porsche 911 RS 3.8 as the main character in “Mirage” and an actual Nissan R33 Skyline GT-R as the main bad guy.
