Jeep Nation, have a party! It won’t be long until the Easter Jeep Adventure. This year is the 57th Safari, and Jeep has already started showing off some of the strange ideas there will be. Today, Jeep released the first two teases, “trail markers.” Instead of photos or drawings, the company showed two great sketches.

The first sketch shows a two-door Gladiator truck that has been beefed up and has the biggest-looking Jeep fenders ever seen. It also has vast off-road tires with a lot of knobs. Looking carefully through the sketch’s fluorescent green haze, we see that the driver’s side mirror has been relocated from the A-pillar to the larger front fender.

The colors on the second concept are more muted. This is Jeep’s way of drawing attention to the blue accent on the 4xe lettering. This concept, which looks like a more traditional Wrangler Rubicon off-roader, has more oversized fenders than those on the real thing. Unlike the Green Giant sketch, this is a standard way to set up mirrors. The doors have been replaced with non-standard tubular half-doors, and the rear windows have been removed and replaced with a Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) utility rack.

Jeep brought an all-time high of seven concept cars to the show the year before. They will bring at least that many people back this year. To get to eight, like the year early, two more must be added each week until the Easter Jeep Safari starts.
