The Sport-L version of the 2024 Honda CR-V is in between the Sport and Sport Touring models. The base price of the 2024 Honda CR-V goes up by $1090. As of this writing, the LX starts at $30,795. The Sport-L starts at $37,645 and comes with front-wheel drive as standard. In 2024, Honda added a new CR-V trim level called Sport-L. The Sport-L fills the gap between the cloth-seat CR-V Sport and the hybrid-only top-of-the-line Sport Touring. A New CR-V Hybrid Trim But the $37,645 Sport-L is more than just a CR-V Sport with leather seats. Honda has added to the model a number of comfort features that were only available on the gas-powered EX-L and gas-electric Sport Touring trims before. There’s also a power tailgate (but not a kick-to-open choice, since Honda keeps that for the Sport Touring), a four-way power passenger seat, front and rear parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, satellite radio, driver’s seat memory, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, the Sport-L has an eight-speaker audio system, which is more than the Sport’s six speakers but less than the 12-speaker Bose system in the Sport Touring. The tablet entertainment system in the Sport-L is 9.0 inches wide, which is 2 inches wider than the one in the Sport. The Sport-L looks more like its cheaper sister, the Sport, than like the more expensive Sport Touring. The Sport-L has the same 18-inch wheels and tires as the Sport. The top-of-the-line CR-V Hybrid, on the other hand, has 19-inch wheels and tires. In the same way, the Sport-L has front-wheel drive as normal, and all-wheel drive costs an extra $1500. The Sport-L comes basic with a four-cylinder gas engine and two electric motors that work together to make 204 hp, just like its other gas-electric siblings. The price of the CR-V in 2024 In 2024, the LX, EX, and EX-L types of the CR-V that aren’t hybrids will still have a 1.5-liter turbo four with 190 horsepower. In fact, most of the other models in the sixth-generation CR-V range haven’t changed much in their second year. Even so, the base LX model’s starting price has gone up by $1090 for 2024 and is now listed at $30,775.
