Since the last redesign happened in 2023, it’s not a surprise that the 2025 BMW 3-series hasn’t received a few changes. BMW released information about the standard sedan’s specs, which included new software for the infotainment system and changed numbers for the turbocharged inline-six’s output.

In 2025, the BMW 3-Series will get a new hybrid engine that has more torque

While BMW says it has been tuned for “sharper power delivery and greater efficiency,” the main improvement for the redesigned 3-series is its 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine from the M340i. The engine is now even stronger thanks to a new 48-volt hybrid system that adds four horsepower and 29 pound-feet of torque. There are 386 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque in total.

The company that makes the 330i says that its 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine has the same output but less power. Don’t be fooled, though—the four-cylinder engine still makes 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

BMW says that the new 3-series went through “rigorous development work” to improve the chassis. Firmer chassis bolts that connect the dampers to the body have improved the ride, and the steering effort has been lowered when the car is in Comfort mode.

The all-new 3-series shares the same iDrive 8.5 system on the inside with more modern BMWs, like the electric i5. Over-the-air changes can be done with this interface. The navigation system is always available on the new home screen, and the new system has widgets that can be changed to fit your needs.

The last changes for 2025 are two new types of steering wheels, two new paint colors (blue and red), and a new set of 19-inch M metal wheels made just for the 330i. Prices range from $46,675 for the base 330i to $62,775 for the top-of-the-line M340i xDrive.
