• Kia showed off a new version of the K5 mid-size car in Korea.
  • Inside, the front and back ends have been changed, and there is now a rotary gear and a digital gauge cluster.
  • People in the US should be able to buy the updated K5 for the 2025 model year.

The updated version of the K5 mid-size hatchback for the Korean market shows that Kia will improve the look of its cars for the next model year. Along with new headlights and taillights, the 2025 Kia K5 has had a lot of changes made to the inside. It should make its way to the United States in the coming months.

In 2025, the Kia K5 will get a beautiful new look on the outside and inside

The more prominent taillights have LED accent lights that go down into the frames, and the new front end has daytime running lights that are bigger, stand out more, and have an exciting zigzag pattern. Some pictures also have fantastic new wheel shapes and what looks like a blackout kit.

As part of the interior changes, a bigger central infotainment screen has been added to a single panel with a new digital instrument cluster. The center panel now has a rotary shifter and new touch controls for navigation and temperature. This makes more space for storage. You can get brown leather seats and a new steering wheel.

The optional turbocharged four-cylinder engines in the K5 should stay the same since the 2024 Hyundai Sonata car’s powertrain range doesn’t change much. The base models should have a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-wheel drive engine that can be paired with either front- or all-wheel drive. The K5 GT should still have a 2.5T engine of 291 horsepower. We will inform you more about the 2025 K5 in the US as soon as we find out which changes will be made here.
