• Mini is still putting out the updated 2025 Cooper, and you can already see the five-door hatchback.
  • The five-door looks the same as the three-door, but it is six inches longer.
  • When it first comes out, it will be a Cooper S with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 201 horsepower.

For the 2025 model, Mini is introducing exciting changes to its iconic Cooper. While the front end maintains its classic look, the addition of trapezoidal taillights and a completely new interior design will undoubtedly pique your interest. Mini has recently unveiled the 2025 Cooper five-door, a model that will be available for the first time this year in the Cooper S trim. This is a significant shift from the previously seen three-door version, offering a fresh and unique driving experience.

In 2025, the longer Mini Cooper with five doors will be back

The five-door model, with its extended length of about six inches compared to the three-door model, offers a significant boost in interior space. From nose to tail, it measures 158.9 inches, almost the same as the previous five-door model. This 2.8-inch increase in length translates to more legroom for the five occupants. The additional set of doors, along with the unchanged round headlights and balanced stance, maintain the model’s signature look. The option of 16-inch and 18-inch wheels further enhances driving comfort.

Step inside the 2025 Mini Cooper and you’ll be greeted by a familiar yet modern interior. The central console features a large round screen for entertainment, complemented by a sleek fabric on the dashboard. The absence of a gauge panel contributes to the car’s minimalist design, but fear not, the infotainment system is anything but basic. Equipped with a head-up display and voice control, it’s designed to keep you connected and entertained on the road. And when you need more space, simply fold down the back seats for added convenience.

In other parts of the world, the Cooper will have a three-cylinder engine that can produce 154 horsepower. In the United States, all five-door Coopers will have four-cylinder engines. The Cooper S is the first one to come out. It has a four-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 201 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. It also has an automatic engine with seven speeds. Mini will later release a Cooper C model with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Power and torque numbers will be released closer to the launch of the car.

The Cooper with five doors will go into production in July, and sellers will get the Cooper S in September. People in the United States will be able to buy the base Cooper five-door type in January 2025. We will know how much the Cooper C costs later, but the Cooper S five-door will begin at $34,195.
