In 1949, the first Grand National Roadster Show was held. Hundreds of trucks will be at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, for the first Grand National Truck Show in just a few weeks. Rod Shows will be in charge of the new event. Since 2004, Rod Shows has been in the order of the GNRS.

On September 16 and 17, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Grand National Truck Show will be held at LMC Truck and Classic Truck Performance. The show will feature every type of truck, van, and SUV made between 1900 and 2023. All weekend, HOT ROD will be there to cover the show.

There will be awards in over 35 categories, such as Best Display, Paint, Interior, Engine, and Detailing. The most prestigious award is “World’s Most Beautiful Truck.” Eighteen cars compete to be the first to win this prestigious award. The distinction is as important as the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster and Al Slonaker Memorial awards at the Grand National Roadster Show. The winner will also get a handmade trophy and a check for $12,500 from ARP Fasteners.

Trucks have always been a part of the GNRS, but John Buck, the owner of Rod Shows, thought that custom carriers should have their show. Collectors, makers, and customizers are increasingly interested in trucks, SUVs, and vans, so Buck said, “We wanted to make a show to honor these hard-working works of art.” “There has been a great response to the Grand National Truck Show.”

The Grand National Truck-In will be part of the Grand National Truck Show, and trucks, vans, and SUVs will be displayed in different buildings at Fairplex. People who want to show off their cars and cruise around in the Southern California sun for one or two days are welcome.
