The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is ready for a redesign, which is previewed by the recently revealed Korean model. The next-generation Palisade features a more angular design, giving it a more sophisticated appearance, while its interior also becomes more refined, blending style with practicality. Hyundai has not yet provided any details about the upcoming U.S.-spec Palisade, but it is anticipated to be unveiled sometime in 2025. Hyundai just released the new Ioniq 9, an electric SUV with three rows of seats and a unique look. The Korean carmaker is noted for its unusual design, with many of its models sporting expressive bodywork and futuristic lighting components. In this case, both its gas-powered cars, like the bigger Palisade and the mid-size Santa Fe, and its electric cars are included. Hyundai just recently shared information about the Korean version of the second one, which will be the start of a new age. A large grille and bright front lighting improve the luxurious look of the living Hyundai Palisade. These features will remain in the next edition, which we expect to arrive in the US for the 2026 model year. The Santa Fe is more flashy than the Palisade, but the Palisade looks more elegant and straight. If you look back at it, the stacked set of rectangular daytime running lights and hidden headlights on either side of its box-shaped grille is sure to catch your eye. The Korean model in these early pictures has detailed 21-inch wheels that would look good on a Genesis car. The SUV’s mostly smooth side panels stand out against the molded wheel-arch outlines. The headlights look like the front daytime running lights, which makes the car look like it belongs together. The artistic bezel that goes up the back roof pillars and looks like it connects to the roof rails is another beautiful part of the design. The inside of the new Palisade is fancier, with an ovoid dashboard that, luckily, still has physical controls. The HVAC system shown below has the same switches, as well as two knobs and buttons for adjusting the music system. The updated interior design has Hyundai’s three-spoke steering wheel without any logos, an electronic shifter on the steering column, and the company’s signature curved digital display. There are several ports and a charging pad on the console, as well as a shelf that faces the front traveler. Hyundai says that the wheelbase of the new Palisade is longer than the current 114.2-inch wheelbase, but it’s not clear how much longer. The Palisade will have more space and a bigger outside, but these details are still unknown. Up to nine people can fit on the seats. Hyundai says that the front center bench can be raised so that most people can sit in a three-across arrangement. One of the best places to sit is on a bench. That being said, we’ll have to wait and see if that choice is also in the US edition. We got a sneak peek at the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, but we still need to wait to find out more about it and how much it costs in North America. Since the only engine option now is a 3.8-liter V-6 with 291 horsepower, Hyundai hasn’t said if it will switch to a turbocharged four-cylinder or offer hybrid or plug-in hybrid versions, as it does with some of its other SUVs. Prices will also go up a little. The 2025 Palisade will start at about $38,000 and go up to about $55,000.
