The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is no longer being made because the company no longer wants to make wagons. The Porsche Panamera will no longer only come as a sedan when it gets to its third model in 2024. Because of its poor sales history, Porsche found it challenging to make the case for adding a more useful wagon to the current model. The third version of the Porsche Panamera has been improved in every way except for the Sport Turismo wagon, which will not join the more popular sedan. Last week, Porsche showed off the new Panamera, but the Sport Turismo was not in any of the pictures. We know for sure that it was done by hanging. Goodbye, sports tourism The wagon obviously didn’t sell as well as the others in the line, so it was taken off the market. The company told Automotive News Europe in a statement, “The Sport Turismo plays only a limited role in China and the United States, which are our main markets in the D class.” We have chosen to stop making this model version because the next generation has come out. Some people don’t like that the 2024 Panamera doesn’t have a trunk, but it still looks good. The most current model has better hybrid features, more technology, and better performance and style. It’s a style improvement over the second-generation car, with stronger front fenders and more defined body lines that make it look like a Porsche. The inside of the new Panamera is based on the Taycan electric vehicle. The three digital screens inside are the main attraction. An optional dual 10.9-inch touchscreen is located on the passenger side, and a 12.6-inch tablet is used for the instrument cluster. The new Panamera’s engine specs are almost the same as those of the newly redesigned Cayenne SUV. The new 2.9-liter V-6 turbocharged engine has 37 pound-feet more torque and 23 horsepower more than the old one, for a total of 348 pound-feet and 348 horses. You can now place an order for the 2024 Panamera. The base price is $101,550. The arrival date is set for spring.
