• After many jokes, broken promises, and years of waiting, there are signs that Tesla’s Cybertruck is finally getting close to being made.
  • The developer said on X, which used to be called Twitter that the company’s Giga Texas location is where the first Cybertruck was made on July 15.
  • More cyber tricks are being seen on public roads, and more transport trucks are carrying what look like production cars.

The Tesla Cybertruck has been the subject of jokes, internet arguments, broken promises, and a lot of waiting over the past four years. Still, there are signs that the total production of the vehicle is getting closer. We’ll take a moment to think back to when the Cybertruck (with its windows still in place) made its first appearance on stage. Considering how long it’s been, you may have reached essential life events like getting married, divorcing, having kids, or living through a global epidemic. Even if big things happen in life, the Cybertruck is almost done and will soon go into mass production.

Late in 2021, they were going to start making the Cybertruck. Later, it was put off until 2022, and then Musk put it off even longer, until 2023. The Verge says that early production of the Cybertruck was supposed to start this summer. However, Musk said in January that total production won’t begin until 2024.

Built for the first time on July 15

According to the company’s new website, X.com, the first Cybertruck was built in the company’s Giga Texas plant on July 15. This is the most correct timetable to date.

More Cybertrucks are seen on delivery cars, proving that production is slowly increasing. Tesla fans and web sleuths have put spy pictures of Cybertuck delivery trucks online. There have also been many stories of test cars being seen on the road. Given the CEO’s past, it’s unsurprising that one of the test cars had a cover that looked like the Ford F-150 and the Toyota Tundra. Why? We don’t know.

Changes in prices

At the beginning of the article, Tesla said that the basic Cybertruck with a single motor and rear-wheel drive will start at $39,900. AWD cars with two or three engines should start at $49,000 or $69,900 and have a range of 500 miles.

Many people don’t pay those amounts right now, which is a shame. The starting price of the Ford F-150 Lightning was around $40,000, but it quickly went up by more than $10,000 before returning to around $52,000. The starting price for the Rivian R1T is $74,800, and the starting price for the GMC Hummer EV is almost $87,000.

Musk says the price will almost certainly increase from what was first predicted. When asked about the price, the CEO is said to have said, “It will be hard to make it affordable because it’s a new car and a new way to make it.” We won’t know for sure until Tesla confirms the initial selling price, but if the price changes over the past year are any sign, anything short of a receipt could be wrong.
