• For 2025, Genesis is making changes to the G80 mid-size luxury SUV.
  • On the inside, there is a big touchscreen. The headlights and hood have also been changed.
  • The 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter engines are likely to stay the same.

Along with its SUV sibling, the GV80, the Genesis G80 sedan will get the same update in 2025. The most important changes can be seen inside, where a new screen and panel design bring the cabin up to date. Some changes have been made to the front end, and the wheels now have a slightly different look.

It now has a bigger screen and a bigger face on the 2025 Genesis G80

The grille, headlights, front and back bumpers, and wheel designs have all been changed on the outside. You can also get a new color called Brooklyn Brown. The G80 Sport trim level, shown in red below, has more air intakes, a front bumper that looks more powerful, and a different texture on the grille.

Two-thirds of the panel is now taken up by the huge new 27-inch OLED screen inside. The pictures look good, and the main screen and the digital gauge set are linked together. There are two rotary knobs left in the middle console. One controls the entertainment system and the other shifts gears. The climate settings now have a touch-sensitive interface, but it looks like they still have some hard knobs and buttons.

Although Genesis hasn’t released any specs, we don’t think there will be any big changes to the G80’s two engine choices—a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 and a turbo 2.5-liter inline-four. The electric version, which is called the Electrified G80, will probably get changes like these in the future. The 2025 G80 should go on sale in the US in the next few months. It will cost more than the current model’s starting price of $55,345.
