Kia released the first pictures of the outsides of its PV5 electric passenger and freight vans, which are ready for production. The PV5 will have three body styles and several different interior options, though the main types will be passenger and cargo vans. Kia said that inside pictures and a more in-depth technical look would be available by the end of the month. When the ready-to-sell PV5 electric van was shown, Kia slammed its beer into Volkswagen’s hand and said, “Hold my beer.” Kia has added the modular electric van, which is a rival to VW’s ID. Buzz car. The PV5 was first shown at CES in 2016. It has now been made, and it looks a lot like the original idea. The mid-size van will come in three body styles and “several” versions. The first two will be passenger and freight vans, and later, there will be specialty conversion models. Kia shared pictures of the outside of the passenger and cargo models. The pictures show that the front of both models is simple, with a tall, flat shape that will definitely give plenty of headroom. The passenger version has big glass windows that extend to the back of the van, but the cargo version doesn’t. The storage model has two doors that open to the sides, while the passenger model has a liftgate on the back. We don’t know much about the powertrain, but Kia did build the PV5 to be an electric vehicle in every way. From what we can see, the gauge cluster and entertainment screens are on different parts of the dashboard. We’re still waiting for pictures of the inside, though. Three days after Kia’s February 24 statement, more information about the new van’s interior and powertrain will be made public. Due to current tariff restrictions, we will have to admire this car from afar. The PV5 range is not expected to arrive in the United States.
