• It has three electric motors and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that powers the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario.
  • 907 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque can be sent to all four wheels.
  • Also, a Lamborghini cabin is more useful because it has more room and three big screens.

Lamborghini, an Italian company based in Sant’Agata Bolognese that makes supercars, is releasing the Temerario, which will replace the Huracán. The Huracán and Gallardo both have long-running V-10 engines, but the Temerario has a V-8 engine that is driven by three electric motors instead. The Temerario has a new design that puts more emphasis on everyday use and aerodynamics, along with an improved hybrid engine. When the Temerario came out, it brought together all of Lamborghini’s other cars.

Lamborghini Temerario 2025 features 907 horsepower and a V-8 hybrid engine instead of V-10

Hybrid with High Performance

The 4.0-liter V-8 engine in the Temerario is twin-turbocharged and has a hot-vee setup, which means that the turbos are inside the V-shaped cylinder banks. The V-8 makes 538 lb-ft of torque between 4000 and 7000 rpm and 789 hp between 9000 and 9750 rpm on its own. Amazingly, the eight-cylinder engine can turn at 10,000 rpm, and the turbos can handle up to 36.3 psi of boost pressure. The flat-plane crankshaft and titanium connecting rods in the engine help to lower the moving masses, Lamborghini says that a lot of the engine’s parts are based on what they know about racing.

The V-8 engine sends power to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission placed behind the engine across the back. Lamborghini says it has cut weight while keeping shift speed by adding a hollow shaft that lets the synchronizers be shared for different gear torque lines, because of this, the gearbox is said to be lighter than the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission in the Huracán.

The Temerario can make a total of 907 horsepower with its three electric engines. The Temerario’s front axle is driven by two oil-cooled axial flow motors, each of which can produce up to 148 horsepower. Lamborghini says that the front motors can power the Temerario solely with electricity, and the whole front axle system is only 161 pounds. Lamborghini says that its new supercar makes 50% less CO2 than the Huracán. The third electric motor serves as a “torque gap filler” to get rid of turbo lag, make gearshifts smoother, and make the car quicker when starting from a stop, it’s in the middle, between the V-8 and the transmission. This e-motor can also work as a three-phase generator and a starting motor.

It has a 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery that powers the e-motors, Lamborghini was able to fit the battery into the central tube so that the car would have a low center of gravity and good weight distribution by putting the transmission at the back of the engine. With an external charger that can handle up to 7 kW of power, the battery can be fully charged in 30 minutes, it can also be charged directly by the engine or by stopping the front wheels and regenerating power.

The Lamborghini Temerario can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 213 mph. It also has electric motors on the front that allow for precise torque vectoring. This should make it more agile in tight turns and stable in quick bends. According to Lamborghini, torque vectoring technology makes driving more lifelike because it mostly uses electric motors and only uses brakes when needed.

The Temerario’s electric motors can be used in three different ways: recharge, hybrid, and speed. It also has five different drive modes: Città, Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Corsa Plus. The Lamborghini also has a Drift mode with three levels of customization that lets drivers create oversteers for exciting slides.

Aerodynamically informed design

The Temerario looks like a Lamborghini because of its wedge shape and sharp edges. It is also about five inches longer than the Huracán. As is typical of the Lamborghini style, there are a lot of hexagonal shapes. The daylight running lights stand out the most. These are in the lower bumper and have an air tunnel that sends air through ducts under the headlights to cool the brakes. A big air intake just in front of the back wheels feeds the twin-turbo engine as it goes down the side. Two more fans higher on Temerario’s shoulder line and below the side window help it along.

Two more hexagons can be seen on the back: the exhaust pipe in the middle and the simple taillights that are set behind a fixed rear spoiler. Because of a big diffuser and no longer having skin around the back wheels, the Temerario has a strong stance. Air flows to the diffuser through a set of fins under the body.

Everyday Driver Supercar

Inside, hexagonal air vents and a steering wheel with a race theme match the outside look. The normal Lamborghini start/stop button is hidden under a red flap. Launch Control, on the other hand, is controlled by a single button. The inside is more comfy than in previous Lamborghini models, thanks to an 18-way heated and ventilated seat. Many high-quality materials are on the market, such as carbon, fur, and leather. Also, Lamborghini says that the new metal space-frame chassis makes the cabin more roomy by more than an inch for both the head and the legs. The front trunk can hold about four cubic feet of things.

The driver can see information on a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and the passenger can see driving information and car comforts on a 9.1-inch screen on the side of the car. Still, the main navigation and entertainment systems are controlled by an 8.4-inch screen in the middle of the dashboard. Programs can be moved from this screen to the panels on either side. The infotainment system can link wirelessly to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are also three camera choices for the Temerario owners. There is a built-in dash cam and a “Memories Recorder” that can record up to two minutes of driving. The cameras also make Lamborghini Telemetry 2.0 possible, an onboard program with more than 150 loops that gather data while the car is being driven on racetracks.

Whatever you pick

The Ad Personam customization service from Lamborghini will offer more than 400 colors and liveries, but the Temerario will only come in two new colors: Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius. Three types of wheels are available. The front wheels are 20 inches wide, and the back wheels are 21 inches wide. All of them come with Bridgestone Potenza Sport or Potenza Race tires. You can get the seats in a lot of different colors and four different stitch designs. You can also get carbon-fiber trim on both the inside and outside of the seats.

Also, Lamborghini made the Alleggerita package, which is a light choice that can save you up to 55 pounds of weight. Plastic that has been reinforced with carbon fiber is used to make the front splitter, side skirts, and back lid. It also has carbon fiber door panels and a footrest for the guest inside. Side windows made of polycarbonate and different types of glass for the back help cut down on weight even more. A redesigned back spoiler, which adds more downforce, is part of the track-focused package.

Lamborghini hasn’t said how much the Temerario will cost or when it will go on sale. The 2025 Temerario should go on sale in early 2025, and the base price will be around $290,000.
