This could mean the Ghibli and Levante will get the Nettuno twin-turbo V-6 from the MC20. Even though the V-8 engine is being phased out, and the current V-6 engine used in the Ghibli and Levante is expected to do the same, both nameplates will still be made at least until the end of their existing product lifecycles. Maserati is going through a lot of significant changes. The well-known Italian carmaker told Car & Driver today that production of the Quattroporte will end soon and that the Ghibli and Levante could get significant powertrain changes before the end of their current lifecycles.
