Starting with the 2025 Cooper Electric hatchback, the redesigned Mini line will have a new interior that mixes classic and modern styles. The big round screen in the middle of the dashboard is still there, but the panels on either side are now made of textiles with built-in lights. For the new style, designers looked at Mini’s history but added modern touches and kept things simple. Starting with the 2025 model year, Mini’s small cars and SUVs will be brand new. This includes changing the interior architecture, the powertrain choices, and the outsides. The Cooper Electric hatchback is the first car to show Mini’s latest internal design language. It’s based on the company’s first car from 1959 but has modern comforts and funny touches. The main thing to look at is the circular display screen with a minimal bezel. The panel is also made of fabric and has LED lights when the car is turned on to greet you. You can change the style of the display panel or switch between the car’s different driving modes to change the color of the lights. In earlier Mini Coopers, the dashboard had a row of toggle buttons. This one has the same idea, but it’s much more straightforward. The next Countryman SUV is likely to look like this one. At a recent Mini preview event, the updated interior of the Cooper was shown off. It is now more refined and beautiful than before. Even though it’s about the same size and shape as before, the materials’ quality has improved, making the inside feel more spacious. Soon, the new Cooper and Cooper Electric production version should be available. In the months before its planned debut in 2024, when it is set to go on sale, we will learn more about its powertrains and features.
