The 2025 Mini Cooper JCW Hatchback and JCW Convertible have a 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged engine that makes 228 horsepower. The Hatchback can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds and has 45 to 280 pound-feet of power. When they go on sale in January, the Hatchback will cost $39,195, and the convertible will cost $44,695. Mini has released the Cooper Electric Hatchback and Aceman for sale in other countries. They are the first electric cars to get the John Cooper Works performance treatment. Under the name John Cooper Works, the company that made the famous British city cars is back with two new sporty small cars. Not only do they run on gasoline, but they are also going to the United States. The 2025 Mini Cooper JCW Hatchback and JCW Convertible have a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. This is likely the same seven-speed transmission as the one in the Countryman JCW. The inline-four engine has the same 228 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque as last year. This is 45 pound-feet more torque than the previous model. Mini says that the JCW Hatchback will go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds, and the JCW Convertible will do it in 6.2 seconds. The Convertible can go as fast as 152 mph, which is a little slower than the Hatchback’s top speed of 155 mph. Mini’s flashy styling changes make the John Cooper Works models stand out. The huge octagonal grille has a shiny black finish, a JCW symbol, and many air vents. In the front bumper, there are two air vents with red accents on either side of the grille. The JCW cars also have unique daytime running lights. Both have a black rear diffuser with a single exhaust pipe running through the middle. The Hatchback also has a spoiler on the back. The JCW models also come with sporty 17- and 18-inch wheels. The brake calipers are Chili Red and have JCW logos pressed into them. The buyers can pick between red and black racing lines on the hood. The soft top for the Convertible comes in black or gray with a Union Jack design. The Hatchback’s roof color can be changed. You can fold down the operated soft top in 18 seconds and go up to 18.6 mph before going away. The red and black theme continues inside the JCW cars, which have sports seats with red stitching and black synthetic leather. The knitted fabric on the panel resembles a checkered flag. The Harman/Kardon music system that comes with every JCW is good. In January 2025, two types of Cooper JCW cars will be for sale in the US. The Convertible will cost $44,695, and the Hatchback will start at $39,195.
