The Acura ZDX electric SUV’s Monterey Car Week teaser is now live. Lithium batteries will power the GM-supported electric SUV. The ZDX and Type S should be available early in 2024. Acura will unveil its ZDX electrified SUV during Monterey Car Week on August 17. The ZDX’s LED headlights were teased today. The teaser reveals a new light strip surrounding Acura’s pentagonal grille’s bottom four sides. The ZDX and Type S will be available in 2024. A deal with General Motors allowed Acura to enter the electric car market. Honda and GM collaborated on the ZDX and Prologue, which will be released soon. GM’s Ultium battery will power the ZDX and Cadillac Lyriq in Tennessee. No change since the last age The Precision EV concept car during Monterey Car Week the year prior gave Acura a preview of the ZDX’s design. The business released camouflaged ZDX Type S pictures late last year. The old ZDX had a slanted roof, but the new one had a towering hood and squared back. If the Acura is built with the Lyriq, we expect the ZDX to have the same 12.0-kWh battery pack and 340-hp electric motor to power the back wheels. The speedy Type S would get the Lyriq’s 500-hp engine and dual-motor all-wheel drive.
