Time is running out to acquire a new Dodge Challenger or Charger. Dodge’s fast car order books close at the end of the month. Chief Executive Officer of Dodge Tim Kuniskis remarked, “It’s the last call for the ‘Last Call’ for fans who want to order a Dodge Challenger or Charger, especially a high-horsepower model like the Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, or a special-edition model.” Dodge enthusiasts are running out of time to possess a piece of history as we move toward an exciting, electrified future for muscle cars. After this year, Dodge will remove the internal combustion engines from the Charger and Challenger. It will conclude “no later than December 31, 2023.” An era has ended. The current Challenger debuted in 2008. After 15 years on the market, it received a significant redesign in 2015 and several horsepower upgrades. Dodge’s second-to-last “Last Call” car, the SRT Demon 170, had 1,025 horsepower and an 8.91-second quarter-mile. In addition to “Shakedown,” “Black Ghost,” and “Scat Pack Swinger” names and unique colours, all 2023 Challengers and Chargers will feature a “Last Call” sign under the hood to signify the end of manufacture. These cars won’t last long, so act fast if this interests you.
