Have you heard someone say their uncle owned “like 50” Pontiac Trans-Ams and Firebirds in a field outside their house? Call and ask if their uncle lives in Waverly, Iowa. A sale of classic Pontiac muscle vehicles will take place this weekend. General Motors sells thousands more parts.

VanDerBrink Auctions is presenting the collection of late Pontiac lover Bob Steely. The automobiles range from the 1990s to the 1970s. His wife sells them. One is a Trans-Am SD-455 replica. The sale firm video tour shows it parked inside. A stylish Indy Pace Car and at least five Turbo Trans-Ams with tuned 301-cubic-inch V8 engines are coming.

The sale begins on Friday, August 4, with hundreds of tools and shop equipment. On Saturday, August 5, another Trans-Am will likely be like yours. It’s a broad collection, but having many of the same types means duplication.

Find another GM hobby project here. Two 1969 Camaro project vehicles, a 1978 Camaro, a 1986 Chevy 3+3 Crew Cab Deluxe 30, a 1995 Chevrolet C3500 dually, and more are available. The “thousands of parts” in “about six buildings” are just as appealing, especially for those who can’t drive home in another automobile.

This auction lets you bid any amount. Even if they can’t run or drive, you can tell they were well-cared for. Take advantage of the sale if you’re shopping for something.
