VinFast showed off the VF3 SUV at CES 2024. It is an electric boxy car that is 17 inches shorter than the small Fiat 500e, which comes out this year in the US. The VF3’s engine is unknown at this time, but VinFast has said that the goal is for an electric range of 125 miles. According to Motor1, a VinFast representative said that the VF3 would be sold in the US. It needs to be made clear when sales will start, though. A Vietnamese company called VinFast is putting out a lot of new goods. In the US, the VF8 crossover came out last summer, and this year, the bigger VF9 SUV will be coming out. This week at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the company that makes electric cars shocked everyone with the VF Wild, a stylish concept truck. However, VinFast’s CES show also featured a brand-new model that was ready for production: the VF3, a cutesy subcompact SUV that would allegedly be sold in the United States. In the United States, the small Fiat 500e will go on sale in 2024. It is over 17 inches longer than the boxy VF3, which is 125.6 inches long and looks like the popular Suzuki Jimny. The VF3 is also 66.1 inches wide and 63.8 inches tall, making it the smallest car you can buy in the United States. There are big wheel arches on the VF3, VinFast’s V-shaped gold trim on the front and back, and a two-tone roof with a “floating” B-pillar. The crossover looks like it has good ground clearance, and the wheels are 16 inches. Though VinFast has yet to say much, the company wants to get its cars to have a 125-mile range. The interior is simple and can fit four people. There is a single 10-inch screen behind the steering wheel that works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also a small group of buttons on the center panel. The cabin has 19.4 cubic feet of room when the second row is folded flat. The VF3 made its debut in Vietnam in June, but the squared-off mini-SUV’s showing at CES is where it really made its debut around the world. In the official announcement, the company says that pricing and shipping information for each area will be shared when it’s ready. However, Motor1 says that a VinFast representative has confirmed that the VF3 will be for sale in the United States. Auto News was told in October of last year that the VF3 might cost less than $20,000 at first. If you want to sell this kind of car in the United States, you should price it fairly.
