Rolls-Royce showed off three new custom cars that were based on the “Spirit of Expression” before the Beijing auto show. There are three different types of cars, each with its theme. The Phantom Extended is called Magnetism, the Ghost Extended is called Expressionism, and the Spectre is called Escapism. Rolls-Royce wouldn’t say how much the three cars cost because each one was made to order for a particular customer. However, the prices were likely higher than the starting prices for each model. Rolls-Royce makes some of the most famous high-end cars you can buy, but what if you want something even better? In this case, the manufacturer’s custom branch can help you make your car dreams come true. As part of its “Spirit of Expression” series, Rolls-Royce showed off three of these cars before the Beijing auto show. The set includes three models: Escapism (Spectre), Magnetism (Phantom Extended), and Expressionism (Ghost Extended). Each model has a theme related to its name, and the colors are based on real places. The Spectre has a beautiful two-tone finish in Lantana Red and Tempest Grey. The Spectre’s 23-inch wheels have Lantana Red center caps that match the color of the body. The customized look is finished off with a lit Spirit of Ecstasy ornament on the hood. The inside of the Escapism Spectre is just as beautiful as the outside. It comes in three different leather colors that make you think of tropical sunsets. The Expressionism Ghost Extended’s color finish is really bright. Rolls-Royce calls it “Boracay Blue,” even though we know it’s more purple than blue. According to the car company, the paint looks like the colors seen over the Philippines’s Boracay Island as dawn turns to dusk. The Ghost’s hand-painted coachline that goes from its headlights to its taillights makes it stand out. The Ghost’s interior is mostly made of Arctic white and black leather with bright lime green highlights. The company says that the door pockets have alternating stitch designs that make them look like they are three-dimensional. There are 104,268 stitches in the pattern part on each of the four doors. There are eight more shooting stars and 520 white and lime green “star” lights in the center. The Magnetism Phantom Extended is the most expensive of the three, but it may also be the most understated. The outside is in two colors: Cala Luna Sand and Kabira Blue. There is also a double coachline in Arctic White and Cala Luna Sand. The inside of the Magnetism Phantom Extended is not subtle at all. There are eight shooting stars in the starry header, which has 768 hand-placed Galileo Blue and 576 hand-placed White “stars.” Leather in Arctic White, Navy Blue, and Blue Grey covers the front and back reclined seats. Arctic White stitching stands out as a way to draw attention to the design. The wood veneer on the doors is Obsidian Ayous veneer with wide pores. The original center instrument panel has been swapped out for a piece of art on the dashboard made up of 43,096 separate stitches in Arctic White on Navy Blue. It looks the same on the dashboard in front of the passenger. The three cars were all specially made for a single customer, so the only way to get one is to buy one that has already been used. The company didn’t say how much each car sold for, but we’re sure that each one went for a lot more than its sticker price, which starts at well over $250,000 on the low end. All three cars will be shown at the Beijing Auto Show from April 25 to May 4.
