• Nissan has finally shown off the Frontier Hardbody Edition, which had been teased before.
  • The retro-styled car has sports bars, all-terrain tires, and 17-inch wheels that look great.
  • The base price for the Hardbody Edition package is $3890, and the base price for the SV Crew Cab 4×4 trim is $42,095.

The 2024 Nissan Frontier Hardbody Edition is a new car that resembles the original Hardbody from the 1980s and 1990s. Nissan first hinted at the car earlier this month, and now it is clear what features it will have and how much it will cost. The production model of the mid-size pickup truck is very similar to the Project Hardbody concept car that appeared at the 2022 Chicago auto show. The only difference is that Nissan chose different tires.

The Hardbody choice is only available on the SV Crew Cab 4×4, which starts at $38,205. The total price is $42,095.00 when the $3890 deal is added. The final version of the truck is shown here in red paint, like the first one. It comes with beautiful 17-inch wheels that look just like the ones with the car. The tough BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires on the teaser have been swapped out for less aggressive Hankook Dynapro AT2 all-terrain tires.

Almost all of the changes made to the outside of the car for the throwback version are also made to the regular car, except for the tires. Changes to the outside include black over-fenders, a front skid plate, and some unique stickers. Behind the cab is a sports bar, but it doesn’t have the lights from the idea.

In 2024, Nissan will also add a new SL class for crew-cab cars. This trim is mostly about comfort, so it comes with a 10-speaker Fender music system, LED lighting, and leather seats. The basic S model starts at $31,105, a lot less than the SL, which starts at $40,975.
