The 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid can now be bought, but it costs $4100 more than it did before. The base price of the top-of-the-line SX Prestige Sorento has gone up by $4100 to $48,265, and the base price of the base-level EX trim has gone up by $1700 to $40,065. The hybrid Sorentos did not get the same treatment for the 2024 model year. Instead, they had to wait until the 2025 model year. The Kia Sorento that runs on gas has always been less expensive than the hybrid type. According to Kia’s pricing release today, the 2025 Sorento Hybrid is now even more expensive than it was before. The most expensive trim level, SX Prestige, has gone up in price by $4100 since last year. The base hybrid Sorento EX will cost $40,065 in 2025, which is $1700 more than it does now. It has a 1.6-liter turbo-four gasoline engine that works with an electric motor to make 227 horsepower. You can choose to have all-wheel drive, but by default, only the front wheels are driven. The variant means a $1200 price rise, with prices starting at $41,865 for ’25. Of course, the most high-end Sorento Hybrid costs more. The SX Prestige starts at $48,265, which is at least $4100 more than the model that came before it in 2024. All-wheel drive, a leather headliner, heated front seats, and a curved panoramic screen with two 12.3-inch panels are all included as standard. This one has a new operating system, over-the-air software changes, and a redesigned infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that work wirelessly. The non-hybrid Kia Sorento from the previous model year got the same features and a mid-cycle update. These changes did not come to the hybrid and plug-in hybrid Sorentos until 2025, though.
