Since 2015, Toyota has made a specific colour of paint only available on TRD Pro vehicles, the brand’s most capable off-road vehicles. We first look at Terra, the orange-like colour of the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro that has been revamped. The company’s Calty design office comes up with a unique paint colour every year. Reports say the choice was made after considering what people wanted, how the market was moving, and some good old-fashioned creativity. Previous TRD Pro-only shades were Solar Octane from a year ago, Lime Rush from 2022, Voodoo Blue from 2019, and Quicksand from 2016. TRD Pro versions of the full-size Sequoia SUV, the full-size three-row Tacoma SUV, the mid-size 4Runner SUV, and the full-size Tundra pickup truck will be on sale for the 2024 model year. On the other hand, Terra is launched from the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. Solar Flare costs $425 for TRD Pro customers to have put on their 2023 cars, but the price of Terra for the ’24 models is unknown. Toyota hasn’t said how much the fourth-generation Tacoma will cost yet, but we expect it to do so before the mid-size pickup truck in the fourth quarter.
