• Green Car Reports initially reported that Chevy had deleted the base 1LT trim from the 2024 Blazer EV, leaving the 2LT as the most inexpensive option despite a significant price rise.
  • The AWD 2LT will cost $56,715 when production begins in the fall, while the front-drive version will be priced later.
  • The $61,790 mid-level RS AWD is on sale this summer.

Like a Titan-born Marvel villain snapping his infinite stones, the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV base model vanished. The front-wheel-drive 2LT trim level, whose price was unknown, superseded the $44,995 1LT.

Chevy told Car & Driver that the MSRP for the 2LT AWD is $56,715, even if the FWD price is unknown. Chevy claimed that the now-middle-of-the-pack all-wheel-drive RS’s production timeline had stayed the same. The RS will be the first Blazer EV this summer. Ventilated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, and a distinctive grille improve the 2LT, which begins at $60,215.

The RS RWD and 2LT AWD will be produced in the fall after their summer debuts. Spring will have the most expensive SS trim. Chevy wouldn’t comment on SS pricing changes, but the RWD RS is moving near the top model’s price bracket, so we expect it to rise. 2024 will debut the front-wheel-drive RS and LT models.

Strangely, the RWD RS costs more than the AWD. Chevy verified our reading. We don’t get Bose’s rear-drive sound technology.

We’re sorry to lose another economical option. A Chevrolet representative told Automotive News that the Equinox EV is higher trim levels will satisfy Blazer EV 1LT buyers.
