As Chevy gets ready to start taking orders for the final model year of the sixth-generation Camaro, it is releasing a special Collector’s Edition form of the muscle car. The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition is an option package that includes black paint, badging, different wheels, and other things that make the car look different. It’s available for the car and convertible and on the 1LT, LT, and 1SS trim levels; the supercharged ZL1 gets its own extra-special Collector’s Edition that will be limited to 350 units.

The regular Collector’s Edition package costs $4995 for the 1LT, $5495 for the LT1, and $5995 for the 1SS. It comes with Panther Black Metallic paint, black stripes, 20-inch black wheels, the front splitter from the 1LE performance package, and the ZL1’s rear spoiler on coupes. Chevy is showing that the Camaro’s original code name was Panther (not to be confused with Ford’s Panther platform, of course) by putting Panther images on the Camaro badges on the doors and steering wheel. Special floor mats and a welcome kit with two Camaro banners are also available.

The ZL1’s Collector’s Edition upgrades cost significantly more and include Panther Matte Black paint and a serialised badge showing the car’s position among the 350 units made. When you buy a ZL1, you also get a Shinola watch that matches the car.

For the 1LT and LT1 trims, you need to add the RS package if you want the Collector’s Edition. The 1LT Collector’s Edition costs $39,440, the LT1 Collector’s Edition costs $47,385, the 1SS Collector’s Edition costs $49,890, and the ZL1 Collector’s Edition costs $89,990.

In 2024, Chevy will also stop making the 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged engine that comes standard on the Camaro. This leaves the 3.6-liter V-6 with 335 hp, the 6.2-liter V-8 with 455 hp, and the 6.2-liter V-8 in the ZL1 with 650 hp. The LT coupe’s base price goes up to $32,495 and the LT convertible’s base price goes up to $38,495. The 2024 model goes on sale on June 15, and the last one will be made in January 2024.
