Dodge has finally announced the price of the 2024 Charger Daytona EV, a two-door electric sports car. This comes just two days after the company released the car’s new simulated “exhaust” note. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T will start at $61,590, which is about $14,000 more than the 2023 Charger R/T, the gas-powered version of the same car.

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV starts at slightly over $60,000

And the electric R/T does a lot better than the gas one. For the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, the Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade will be standard. This will raise the engine’s top power to 496 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. The previous Charger R/T had a V-8 engine that made 370 horsepower. Dodge also said that the R/T will have an 18-inch metal wheel package, 245/55R18 all-season tires, and a sports suspension.

The 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack costs $75,185, which is more than $20,000 more than the 2023 Charger Scat Pack with petrol engines. The high output of 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque is again due to the Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade that comes with the electric Scat Pack. The gas-powered V-8 engine in the Scat Pack made 485 horsepower.

The 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack will come with the Track kit as standard. This kit has a gloss black rear spoiler, dual-valve adjustable dampers, and red Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes. The Scat Pack comes with 20-inch metal wheels and huge 325/35R-20 all-season tires. Dodge says that with these specs, the car will go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and finish the quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds. The package comes with heated back seats, a data and video recording system, and leather and suede performance seats that can be adjusted in 12 ways and have four-way lumbar support.

Deals on packages

Dodge will let you pack the Charger Daytona in a number of different ways. A 16-inch digital gauge panel, a motorized rear hatch, a wireless charging pad, and LED headlights are some of the features that come with the $4,995 Plus Group. For an extra $1095, you can change the R/T model by adding the Blacktop option, which makes the outside badges and wheels darker. You can add a full glass roof, an Alpine sound system with 18 speakers, and a Carbon & Suede package that spreads those materials throughout the cabin to the Sun & Sound option.

For an extra $695, you can add Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 summer tires to the Scat Pack. The front tires will be 305/35ZR-20XL, and the back tires will be 325/35ZR-20. Stellantis made Free2move Charge, an app for the charging network that gives all 2024 Charger Daytonas either a $600 credit or a Level 2 charger to use at home. Dodge says the R/T and Scat Pack will both get the full $7500 tax credit when they are leased.

The new vehicles are expected to arrive in stores by the fourth quarter of 2024. The two-door Charger Daytona will go into production this summer. Early next year, Charger Daytonas, which has four doors, will be on the market. The gas-powered Charger Sixpack cars will start being made in the second half of 2025. The six-cylinder Charger will go on sale the following year.
