Fiat said for sure that this RED special version will be the first electric 500 cars sold in the US. More information about the 500e will be made public next week. It has never been seen in the United States. In the first quarter of 2024, you’ll be able to buy the first American models. Some time has passed since Fiat first said that the famous 500 would be coming back to the US, but we now know a little more about the 2024 Fiat 500e that will be sold here. Fiat said that people who sign up online for the FiatPass digital collection will be able to order these first units, which will be in this restricted red form. If everything goes as planned on December 5, we’ll know a lot more next week. This is the first time we’ve seen the 500e in the United States because of the orange reflector lights on the front fender. The outside of the (RED) version is bright red, and the wheels are beautiful, 24-spoke black ones. When you look more closely, you can see that the color scheme is still there. There is a red piece of trim across the panel from the gauge cluster. Fiat hasn’t said how much the 500e costs yet, but it should start at around $34,000. The front-mounted electric motor with 117 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque is likely to be the same engine that is sold in Europe. The American version will come with the bigger of the two battery packs that are offered for the car. This pack may have a range of about 150 miles. On December 5, when the 500e is officially unveiled in the United States, a lot more details will come out. It is set to come to the US in the first quarter of 2024, with other versions coming after. The first batch of (RED) special versions are being sold as a charitable act with Product Red, a company that raises money for HIV and AIDS research.
