It costs more for a more comprehensive selection

The GV60’s more extended range is because it has 19-inch wheels, which are now the norm. The strange electric SUV used to have wheels that were 20 inches across. The Performance model still has the 21-inch wheels that help give it an expected range of 235 miles, but they are now optional.

At the start, the 2024 model costs more, but it has smaller wheels and a more extended range. The base Advanced model with all-wheel drive now costs $61,745, $1,330 more than the previous model. The Performance AWD model’s base price has increased by the same amount to $70,745. Surprisingly, the Genesis version doesn’t come with the Advanced option, which has 19-inch wheels. The selection doesn’t even have the smaller wheel size as a choice.

The cost of making the GV70 electric

Genesis also announced the prices for the larger Electrified GV70 SUV for 2024, which go up slowly but regularly. The website says that the base Advanced trim level of the car costs only $25 more than the base model of the 2023 car, which started at $67,575. The more expensive Prestige trim has increased by $600, so it now starts at $74,375.
