The strange Genesis GV60 came out last year with only one electric engine and a price tag of around $60,000. Genesis’s electric compact SUV now comes with a rear-wheel-drive choice to make it easier for people to get. The new all-wheel-drive system costs $8,550 more than the old one but has a much longer expected driving range.

The GV60’s price went down

For the 2024 model year, the Genesis GV60 will have a rear-drive Standard trim level, which starts at $53,195. Genesis says it has a 225-hp electric engine that drives the back wheels and a 77.4-kWh battery pack that gives it a range of up to 294 miles. The Advanced model with 315 horsepower and the Performance model with 429 horsepower is expected to have maximum ranges of 264 and 235 miles, respectively.

The GV60 doesn’t have to be bare bones for people who want to save money. The base trim comes with 19-inch wheels, a head-up display, a powered driver’s seat with a leg rest that can be detached, many driver-aid systems, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Also, every GV60 now comes with ten airbags and better seat belt safety features.

There are now some stores in 23 states where you can buy the brand-new 2024 Genesis GV60 Standard and Advanced trims. Prices start at $61,745. The company says that information about the more powerful Performance model, which starts at $70,745 and is available, will be shared as soon as it can be found.
