Truthfully, the 2024 Lexus LC looks and sounds terrific because of its 5.0-liter V-8 engine. The car is a tourer, not a racer. Will the 2024 LC 500 Inspiration Series, inspired by Lexus’s racing history, finally have handling to match its gorgeous looks? The LC 500 Inspiration Series debuts with a coupe, fixed carbon fibre wing, and tiny front bumper canards. This and that comes from racing. Lexus claims that the LC 500’s aerodynamic improvements, while less evident than the IMSA GTD Vasser Sullivan RC F’s, increase aerodynamic stability. The suspension and differential have been significantly altered. The coupe’s underfloor bracing from the convertible stiffens the chassis, and the rear dampers have been returned to make it more agile and exciting to drive. The Inspiration Series’ Torsen-controlled back axle slip makes turning easier. The typical carbon fibre roof is visible outside but may be hard to see. Cutting away a lot of metal from the car’s top lowers its centre of gravity. The soft top’s tonneau cover and (presumably) carbon fibre roof prevent a coupe rear wing. Return Matte The LC 500 Inspiration Series’ matte exterior hues are very intriguing. Surge Polar The automobile and convertible will be painted in satin lacquer. The matte white paint contrasts with the black grille surround, headlights, taillights, rocker, and outside mirrors. The standard 21-inch forged aluminium wheels are matte. They are black. The coupe and convertible have Deep Blue seats and blue cloth tops. The Deep Blue Alcantara’s grey stitching stands out. The doors have carbon fibre scuff plates and a numbered plaque on the middle panel. The Lexus 12.3-inch touchscreen controls the LC 500 Inspiration Series’ Mark Levinson 13-speaker, 915-watt surround sound system. A head-up display, Lexus SmartAccess Key Card, and Lexus connected services will be standard on this unique car. The automobile costs $116,700, and the convertible $121,900. The 2024 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series will have 125 units. These few Lexus LCs should arrive at dealers early this fall.
