As of the 2024 model year, Lucid is adding a new trim to the order sheet for the Air, which will give customers more ways to customize their car. The base Lucid Air Pure will cost $78,900 with landing fees in 2020, which is $225 more than it does now. Customers will have more choices when they buy a car, so they won’t have to move up a level to get certain comforts. Instead, they can add features to lower-priced trims. They can save money this way.

The 2024 Lucid Air starts at $78,900, but there are many other options available as well

There are four trim options for the Lucid Air: Grand Touring, Pure Touring, and the brand-new Sapphire. By 2024, these kinds of cars will have mostly stayed the same in terms of their specs. The base Air Pure has 430 horsepower and an 88-kWh battery that lets it go 419 miles. The Touring, which costs $87,400 right now, has a 92-kWh battery that gives it 620 horsepower and a range of 411 miles. Because the engine has been improved, the Grand Touring (price to be set) has an amazing 819 horsepower. The new Grand Touring is meant to replace the Grand Touring Performance package, which the company says is being phased out. Next year, Lucid will share information about that grade’s range and battery size.

Last but not least, the $250,000 Air Sapphire, which started shipping to buyers in the fall, still has a range of 427 miles and 1,234 horsepower. For the quarter-mile, Lucid says it takes 8.95 seconds and 1.89 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph. The 100 mph race takes 3.84 seconds.

The more expensive Pure and Touring cars were the only ones that could get ventilated seats and the Comfort & Convenience package, which had a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, soft-close doors, and four-zone climate control. The above package comes standard on both the Grand Touring and Sapphire models. Lucid says that all of the changes they made to the packages and choices they offer for their cars were because customers asked them to.

We’re happy to be able to offer such fantastic choices after hearing what owners and possible clients have to say. “Now you can buy an Air Grand Touring with a metal top or an Air Pure with seats that massage you,” said Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson.

The Lucid Air will stay pretty much the same for 2024, but customers will be able to get the exact luxury electric sedan they want more easily, thanks to new prices and more choices.
