Land Rover says that the 2024 Range Rover lineup will change in several ways, including the arrival of a new 606-hp P615 V-8-powered SV model. The 434-hp plug-in hybrid model has been replaced by the 542-hp P550e model, which has a more powerful electric engine. With the new SV Bespoke option, customers will be able to change the look of their Range Rover Autobiography and SV models to make them more unique. Land Rover will significantly change the 2024 Range Rover series by adding a new V-8 model with 606 hop and improving the plug-in hybrid model. Range Rover is starting a unique customization service called SV Bespoke to compete with programs like Lamborghini’s Ad Persona, Bugatti’s Sur Measure, and Porsche’s Exclusive Manufacture, which are all popular and successful. With its improved twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8, the new SV model P615 now has 606 horsepower, but its torque is still 553 pound-feet. Since Car and Driver got the same time with the 523i-hp V-8 Range Rover and Land Rover says it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, the new 606-hp version should be even faster. The plug-in hybrid model also gets an improvement for 2024. The 434-hp P440e model will now be called the P550e, and it will have a total of 542 horsepower. The new 215-hp electric motor works with the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine to make the P550e go from 0 to 60 mph in 0.4 seconds faster. Land Rover says that the plug-in model for 2023 can go 51 miles on a single charge, but they have yet to say how far the 2024 model can go. In the United States, the P440e engine is no longer available in the SE model, which means that the P550e is only offered in the Autobiography trim. The 48-volt hybrid technology used in the six-cylinder cars is now provided in the 523-hp V-8 P530 Range Rover, which comes in SE and Autobiography trim levels. This should make the car use less gas.
