• Tesla has changed the Model 3 Performance for 2024. It now has a dual-motor version that makes 510 horsepower.
  • A 2.9-second time from 0 to 60 mph is claimed for the Performance.
  • It also has bigger brakes, a redesigned body, new adaptive dampers, and a driving mode that is built for the track.

The updated 2024 Tesla Model 3, which has a new interior, more basic features, and a sharper appearance, is already starting to show up on roads in the United States. With the upgraded 2024 edition 3 Performance, Tesla is pushing the limits of its groundbreaking electric car. It has more power than the previous edition, a new adaptive suspension, and a special driving mode for tracks, among other improvements.

The 2024 Tesla Model 3 has 510 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds

Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive engine has 510 horsepower instead of 455 horsepower in the 2023 model, which is a lot more power than the 2023 model. Tesla says that the electric sports car can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 163 mph. The Performance model, which has a Long-Range battery, can go 296 miles on a single charge, which is 45 miles less than the Long-Range AWD model.

The Performance model should also be better now than it was in the past. Compared to a regular 2024 Model 3, it is 0.4 inches lower and has a new adjustable damping system. There is also a “Track” mode that lets the driver change the handling balance, stability control, regenerative brakes, suspension, chassis, and engine. Tesla also says that the performance model weighs 4054 pounds, which is only 24 pounds more than the regular Long Range AWD. The car company also says that the performance springs, bushings, and stabilizer bars have been changed.

The Performance jumps out because the front has been redesigned with carbon-fiber spoilers, rear diffusers, and vertical vents on the corners that stick out the most. The goals are said to be to “reduce drag and improve lift balance at high speeds.” The performance brake pads, pistons, and rotors on the aggressive Model 3 are bigger. It also has 20-inch forged racing wheels that are spaced out.

Model 3 owners are told that they bought the fastest car, which has carbon-fiber trim and new heated and cooled sports seats inside. Also, the 2024 Model 3’s back seat passengers will get the same 8.0-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, entertainment settings, climate control, and a 17-speaker sound system. The Performance, which costs $54,630, will compete against the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and the BMW i4 M50, which cost more.
